George Devlin RSW RGI RBA ROI ARWS FRSA*
A warm welcome!
To those who know George this website will come as somewhat of a surprise – George is not known to be a computer man. However, once he had accepted that an official George Devlin website would give him an online 'canvas' that could be used, not only to show his paintings, but also to communicate with a wider audience, he became rather excited.

*) For those not familiar with these letters a quick guide: RSW stands for member of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (George Devlin was elected member in 1964); RGI stands for member of the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art (George was elected member in 1984); RBA stands for member of the Royal Society of British Artists (George Devlin was elected member in 2004); ROI stands for member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (George Devlin was elected member in 2004); ARWS stands for Associate of the Royal Watercolour Society (George Devlin was elected associate in 1964); FRSA stands for Fellow of the Royal Society of Artists (George Devlin was elected fellow in 2004).
